Growing up is not the absence of dreaming
Eng.Lit Portfolio
I'm completely clueless of what I should be writing for my Eng.Lit Portfolio which has to be submitted to the Exam Authority next year.
Think I'm gonna do analytical essay anyway. But have to tell Miss. Tsang what I'm going to cover in the essay. My God, I have absolutely no experience in writing a 3000 words analytical essay!! Worse still I have to develop my thesis later on.
I'm quite interested in working on a thesis about gender. Power relationship between male and female, things like that, but I really can't be outstanding if I'm doing these topics coz there're plenty of (excellent) essays of this nature out there...I'm interested in talking about sex and gender, things like border-crossing in love relationship, transvestite etc....ahhhhh so many words in my head. My mind's in a mess.
Have to tell Miss.Tsang the plan on Monday. Help.
Any kind-hearted intelligent people out there can offer me some ideas/advice, please?
*Edit*
Finally got my pain in the ass - UE Oral assessment done today.
I was the crappiest among the groupmates. I really was stunned when I was doing my individual presentation. My mind just went blank, didn't know what I was talking about, grammar all twisted into a mess.
But to my surprise, the group interaction went quite well. It's mainly because of Feona's creative ideas so the discussion could be spiced up a little bit. And also the atmosphere was quite relaxing so I could contribute quite a lot too. Mrs.Yau said the performance on the whole is good! Kinda eased my worries of the Oral thingy.
Talked to Miss.Law today about the course on Psychology offered by SCE BU. Planned to take one in summer. Couldn't decided which one to take among the three: Freud's dream analysis, Counselling and Child Psychology. Actually I think Counselling would be the best one for me and Miss. Law said this course will be more practical and suitable for my personality. Still really want to take all three of them but time and money just dun allow me to. Hmmmm...
It's really nice to talk to Miss.Law. She's so soothing, just blurted all my worries about the univeristy thingy to her, feel a little bit relieved now. Wish that she were my class teacher.
Really hope that the HKU SSSP thingy will accept me...or else I'll be down for the whole summer...please...please...please
Think I'm gonna sacrifice my hell-like exercising programme for my hell-like A-level preparation programme during summer.
