My AL UE Oral exam's officially finished today, thanks God I think my performance was pretty good.
Met Mandy right outside of the school gate, and discovered that we'll be in the same centres for Econ., UE and CLC, how great :)
People all seemed to be quite competent when I scanned through their faces in the waiting room. There was a major CUTE GUY. He's pretty tall and he wore a well-fitted white shirt with blue stripes and a nice sophisticated watch. I could tell from his look that he should be really fluent in English. Couldn't take my eyes off him but secretly prayed that I wouldn't be in the same group with him, or else I would blush and get tongue-tied for the whole exam. Luckily he's not in my group. Peeped at his label before he went out of the waiting room, he's Mr. So.....should look out for him in the coming exams :)
The group discussion went quite well without much dead air and awkward responses. All of us contributed and interacted. But I think my presentation was a bit short, I've got 36 sec. left, is that too much? I hope the two examiners (the male one looks like D.C.)wouldn't mind about that......well well well should not think about it anymore, it's over!
Should work hard for the coming exams. Now I truly feel that A-level's right here, like a knife hanging over my head.
By the way, the topic for the group discussion is something about introducing films and comics to the English curriculum. We were asked to discuss whether films and comics are helpful to student's English learning or not and what type of films and comics should the teachers use. And we had to give appropriate example. I kind of challenged the guy who raised Spiderman as an example, but no one responded to it :( funny how one of them said Phantom of the Opera and I was like "this guy has taste", but I said it's too profound for junior students...I was rather aggressive, in a positive way...well well well
An evidence showing that I should be majoring in Psy. Heeheeeee
