The Marshmallow Kisses
Went to HMV again to get the debut of the local Indiepop Band "The Marshmallow Kisses". They just surprise me with such refreshing sound.
I'm actually still listening to their debut (I have actually bought the second album of "Kings of Convenience" too, another refreshing two-boy band of Norway, two beautiful voices and guitars. Haven't listened to their album yet coz I'm addicted to Marshmallow Kisses.)
Their music is kind of nostalgic. It's like, bringing you back to the good old days when the sun is shining and you have nothing to worry about, just to play hard.
Their lyrics are simple, it's honest and cute, yet it's beautiful.
The most wonderful thing about this album, is you truly feel the sincerity of this band, their love for music. I really hope that they won't disappear after this exceptionally beautiful debut. Can't help playing the album all over again and again and again.
The Marshmallow Kisses is a two-member band, a boy and a girl, Peter and Edine, both of them have beautiful voices.
They make me wanna form a band with a boy too. He writes the songs, play the guitar, and I sing and play the tambourine. Having interviews from one record company to another and finally get our contract in a small company who hires us just because our enthusaism towards music. Have a few loyal fans, have our very first mini concert in a cafe, sing for free in people's weddings.
And it'd be nice if the boy has a sunny smile...hehee
