I'm so indulged in Soler's new song 直覺 right now, thanks for the supporter in the forum who've kindly recorded it. I just love the lively way in which the two lovely guys sing, the song is so full of energy, it feels like the sun is shinning brightly brightly on me when I'm listening to it. It makes me wanna tap and dance along the beat!!!

Okay so besides having my lovely lovely Soler made my day, there's a couple of good news as well
I've got A- for the first Fine Arts test!!!!! I was soooooo overwhelmed and excited when I've got my paper back from the Department office. There's nothing better than an A to motivate me to do even better in the next test to come. I truly truly love this course with all my heart, I hope I can really minor in Fine Arts next year. I've got As for the two Sociology memos as well, seems that my academic life is going pretty well.
And all of sudden, I feel like, perhaps, I know what my focus should be.
I'll always have the Soler spirit in me :)

It's silly. It's teenie. This obsession of Soler. But sometimes I really wonder, is it destiny, is it plan of the higher powers that I should get to know Soler and fall for them head over heels?
I mean, I know this band in May, but not until in July that in a causal talk with Kei that I've started to get all crazy over Soler. And July, this strange month, was when the first major turning point of my life took place, the first summer job, the release of A-level result, the decision to swap the ranking of CU Psy and HKU SS. Weird enough, it was also the month in which Soler officially made their debut in Hong Kong's show biz, in which they released their first album in Hong Kong. It is in a way similar, my life and Soler's life, that we were starting off something different.
And it is this feeling, this feeling of resonance I've found in their music, the songs about dreams and determination and difficulties and courage, that draws me so deeply to them.
I've never supported a band like this before, when I looked at music in the past, I looked at it from an aesthetic point of view, but then Soler's music, the passion in their voices, is like a spell cast on me. Maybe they didn't make the music in the purpose of cheering people up, but then it's like, every time I'm down or what, I found comfort in their songs. And at this moment, We Will Shine is exactly the words of comfort and encouragement I need when I'm facing this identity crisis.
Ju always says that he hopes that through their music and their stories, people can be motivated to actualize their dreams. I feel it now, Ju. I'm moved, I'm motivated, by you guys.
Maybe it's just my silly paranoiac Christy getting out of control again. But then hearing "Now you and I will run this race together" in We Will Shine gives me this feeling again.
This feeling of "Soler's with me".
